A pair of our always popular (and comfortable !) Lansdown Chairs upholstered in Turkish Kilim rugs.

A specialist line that we introduced some years ago, our classic 'Howard' shaped Lansdown chairs respond well to the well balanced geometric patterns typical of the Anatolian rugs that we import from Turkey.

Known by a variety of names in Turkey, such as cicim, sumak,zili etc. they can be used as wall decorations and pillows, as well as traditional floor coverings, and, of course, upholstery, although we have to add a calico layer to reinforce the 'slit weave'.
