A classic restoration job required to bring this 'grande dame' back to modern life ! A beautiful example of an original chair from the French 1930s/40s, arguably with some charming life left, more so as a prop than a practical chair, perhaps to throw your vetements over at the end of a long day ?
But, realistically, she requires a full LCB strip down restoration and reupholstering in a leather similar to the original colour. We always find that the frames are wonky once the upholstery has been stripped off, usually requiring lots of clamping and fixing of wobbly joints.
Drop us a line if you fancy commissioning the renaissance of this rare and original club chair.
