As the pictures show, this 1920s/30s Fench antique leather chair, with classic 'cigar' shaped arms, is in original, characterful condition. The advantage being that we can copy the upholstery with the correct detail when the restoration is underway.
An intereresting detail is the visible 'sprung edge' beneath the velvet cushion; the springs are hand sewn beneath the front of the cushion to provide a softness behind the back of the knees rather than the hard edge of the wooden frame.
Do call or email for more details of how this could be reupholstered for you !
June 6th: Now SOLD ..... image showing of the chair renovated to the customer's specifications - amber leather with contrast black piping.
